How to use Diclofenac Gel
The ideal way to use Diclofenac Gel is to follow the instructions of your doctor. An alternative way is to check the medicine label for dosage instructions.
You should avoid applying the gel on broken or bruised skin.
After taking the suggested amount of gel,gently massage on to the affected area. Leave the area undressed for about 10 min and after the gel is dried up ,you can wear clothes
Applying bandage and heating therapies to the area where you applied gel is strictly prohibited.
Avoid contact of the affected area with water for atleast 60 min after you use diclofenac gel

It is important that you maintain a strict schedule for taking Diclofenac Gel to ensure that you do not miss any doses. But if you do, then you may take it as soon as you remember provided that you space out the next dosage accordingly.
On the other hand, if it is almost time for the next dose, then omit this dose and continue with your normal dosage schedule.
Never consume two doses to compensate for a missed dosage.
Store Diclofenac Gel between 68 to 77 degrees F (20 and 25 Degrees). Ensure that you protect it from direct exposure to heat/moisture/light and from the reach of children and pets.
Avoid storing Diclofenac Gel in the bathroom.
Consult your doctor before using Diclofenac Gel if you have conditions like recent bypass surgery,severe allergic reaction to NSAID or aspirin,severe kidney problems.
Do not use Diclofenac Gel if you are allergic to any of the ingredients in it (read medicine label if unsure).
You must avoid taking alcoholic beverages while using Diclofenac Gel as it can increase the chances of becoming drowsy, faint or dizzy.

Avoid using sunscreen lotions ,insect repellants or other topical applications on the affected area.
If swallowed a doctor must be called in immediately.
